How our collections come to life

Honestly? I can’t answer this question with a fixed step-by-step plan.
I don’t function well if I have to stick to the plan.

So, atypical as it may be, I usually start by choosing the fabrics.
I select them based on two things: quality and how they feel on the skin.
If it doesn’t feel right, it doesn’t belong in the collection.

From there, everything begins.

I always try to sketch out each collection in advance.
Those drawings… they exist, but they rarely become part of the final collection.

And then comes the crisis.

That crisis? It brings sunshine.
Over and over again.
Because those moments spark my creativity.

I start sewing from a place of frustration, and then I follow my instinct completely.
Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn’t.

How do I know which pieces make it into the collection?

It’s the moment I put a piece on and instantly feel: “Wow, this is it.”
The moment it makes me want to do a little happy dance in my studio.
The moment I think: yes, this feels so good.

Because in the end, that is exactly how I want women to feel.
Comfortable. Confident. Happy.
Like they’re wearing something special that still feels effortless.
Something that makes them think: I feel incredibly good in this.
